UVDBlive™ LINKS THE WHOLE UTILITIES SUPPLY CHAIN IN 2004

Achilles Information announces that UVDBlive™ will be returning on September 28th-30th 2004 at Stoneleigh Park, near Coventry. Following the success of UVDBlive™ in 2003 Achilles is confident that next year's exhibition will be the event of the Utilities Supply Chain calendar.

"The need for an exhibition like UVDBlive™ was proved by the 2003 event", said Matt Colling, Utility Sector Manager. "Feedback from visitors and exhibitors showed that we created a unique environment for forging links between all those involved in the utility supply chain, and this has prompted us to broaden the scope of the 2004 event still further".

The show is being hosted on behalf of over 60 utilities that subscribe to the UVDB (The Utility sector's supplier qualification system) and will cater for all areas of the supply chain. Among the features being planned are an Internet Café, Technical Seminars and Meet the Buyer Appointments. A Utility focussed conference will discuss key issues facing the sector while the exhibition itself will display the wide range of products and services available to the industry.

Two other events of interest to a Utility audience will run concurrently with UVDBlive™, namely Pipelines and No-Dig Live, enabling those attending to get the maximum benefit from their visit.

Around 200 exhibitors are expected to participate in UVDBlive™ from all over the UK and Europe. The midlands location for the exhibition also gives people from all over the country the opportunity to attend.

UVDBlive™ boasts tremendous support from the industry and as well as the Utilities a number of industry bodies including British Water, the Pipeline Industries Guild (PIG) and the Society of British Water and Wastewater Industries (SBWWI) are supporting the event as is Utility Week magazine.
